PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driver with which size, weight and cost are reduced, reliability is increased and generation of sound is suppressed by conducting lens driving with magnetic action only. SOLUTION: When coils 712 and 722 are supplied with electricity in a lens driver 1, magnetic attraction or repulsive force is generated between the coils 712 and 722 and a magnet 6 and the magnet 6 moves in an optical axis direction until run against ring shaped protrusions 921 and 911. Moreover, a lens moving body 20 moves in the optical axis direction by the magnetic attraction generated between the magnet 6 and a magnet 5 and a moving lens 21 moves in the optical axis direction.
