Roller carrier (2), handle (4) and roller holder (3) are in single-piece construction. The holder has a stop (7) at the handle to locate the roller barrel (10). Sprung, releasable catches (20, 21), located at the end remote from the handle, form a second stop (24). The barrel is made of a plastic sliding readily on the holder and the barrel support surfaces (12, 14). These are dimensioned for a free-running fit with the barrel.
