FOAMING CLEANSING SKIN PRODUCT COMPRISING ANIONIC AND AMPHOTERIC SURFACTANTS

A foaming cleansing product is provided as a cleansing composition packaged in a non-aerosol mechanical dispenser. The dispenser includes a container for holding a liquid composition, a dispensing head wit h a housing enclosing a pump mechanism and a screen material in the flow path to convert liquid composition into a foam, and a diptube fo r delivering liquid from the container to the dispensing head. The cleansing composition is substantially free of water insoluble emollients an d includes an anionic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant of structure (I): wherein R is a fatty alkyl of 6 to 22 carbons; R1 is selected from the group consisting of H, C2H4COOH and C2HaCOONa; and R2 is selected from the group consisting of COONa, CH2CHOHCH2SO3Na, C2H4COON a, CH2COOCH2COOH and CH2COOCH2COONa.
