FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: boron oxide-containing ingredient of composition is anhydrous boron silicate glass in amount below 30% and other ingredients are monticellite and spilenide. Preparation procedure comprises providing, grinding, and concentrating initial borate ore. Concentration or ore is carried out according to class -150 mm followed by melting this class at temperature not exceeding 1300°C and crushing melting product - anhydrous boron silicate glass with crystals of monticellite and spilenide dissolved therein to fineness not larger than 80 mm. ^ EFFECT: eliminated negative effect of ingredients of composition on properties of treated slag, smelted metal, and environment. ^ 2 cl, 6 tbl |
