<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting type surface display device in which a great number of electron sources for obtaining uniform electron emission are formed in a desired arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: A mixed paste of nano tube CNT and a support body GRS is printed and calcined, then an organic layer having viscosity is applied and dried, and by separating, a large part of the nano tube and the support body are removed together with the organic layer. One end of the nano tube CNT and a part of the support body GRS are embedded and fixed to near the surface of a cathode electrode CTL, and the other end is separated from the surface of the cathode electrode CTL, thereby the napped nano tubes are made to directly contribute to emission of electrons. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
