<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily perform more accurate communication. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter 11 transmits original data obtained by dividing transmission data and redundant data generated by applying EOR operation to the original data using a previously prepared coefficient matrix to a receiver 13. In that case, the transmitter 11 adds restoration-related information as information about restoration processing to the original data and the redundant data, and transmits the data. The receiver 13 specifies the lost original data on the basis of information about the restoration data added to the original data and the redundant data which have been received, and arranges the acquired redundant data and performs EOR operation using a previously prepared coefficient matrix, thereby restoring the lost original data and generating received data corresponding to the original transmission data.
