PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that wiring becomes long and the center of gravity of a vehicle becomes high when an AC generator of an motorcycle is built in a front portion of a crankcase and a regulator is disposed at a high position in a vehicle, by disposing the regulator at a suitable place. SOLUTION: An engine 10 comprises the crankcase 15 extending in a vehicular body fore-and-aft direction, a cylinder 16 disposed in front of the crankcase 15 and extending in a generally upward direction, a cylinder head 17 disposed on an upper part of the cylinder 16, and the AC generator 30 built in the crankcase 15. The regulator 24 adjusting the output voltage of the AC generator 30 is supported behind the cylinder 16 and on an upper surface of the crankcase 15 through an electric equipment mounting stay 26. The electric equipment mounting stay 26 is mounted through an insulating rubber, and first and second capacitors 25a and 25b substituting as a battery are mounted to the electric equipment mounting stay 26 through the insulating rubber.
