PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to connect to a wiring member such as an inexpensive flexible flat cable by using a simple base connector for module in place of a module socket. SOLUTION: The base connector for module of thin plate shape is interposed between a plurality of terminals of a small module and a wiring member. This base connector is constructed integrally of an insertion frame having a connector with a plurality of terminals of a module housing and a connector housing having a connector member which is connected to the terminals of the insertion frame at one end and connected to the terminal of the wiring member at the other end. A terminal pattern to be connected electrically to a plurality of terminals of the module housing is formed at the module insertion part of the insertion frame and the connector member which has at one end an elastic contact part to be connected to the wiring member of a flexible flat board and at the other end a pressure contact part to be connected to the terminal pattern is provided at the connector housing.
