PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus achieving a reduction in the size of the apparatus body by reducing the space of a battery housing chamber mainly in the battery-housing direction. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises: a movable member 20 that has an abutting portion 20b for a battery to abut on and that is movable in the battery-charging and discharging direction in the battery housing chamber; and an energizing member 21 for energizing the movable member 20 in the discharging direction.
