PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing it from being erroneously operated by noise generated from a capacitor for ignition without adding any part. SOLUTION: This ignitor for the internal combustion engine comprises the capacitor for ignition, an ignition circuit, and a printed circuit board. Two capacitors for noise filter are mounted between the capacitor for ignition and the printed circuit board with its upper surface brought into contact with the capacitor for ignition. Thus, since an electrostatic capacity between the capacitor for ignition and the circuit board can be suppressed, the ignitor for the internal combustion engine can be prevented from being erroneously operated by the noise generated from the capacitor for ignition.
