<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process a decorative panel in a processing method for forming a plurality of recessed parts different in diameter to the decorative panel. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of small, medium and large spherical recessed parts 11c, 11d and 11e different in diameter (opening diameter) are provided to the surface of a rear panel 11 adapted as the exterior member (decorative panel) of a camera. The spherical recessed parts 11c, 11d and 11e are formed by subjecting the rear panel to turning processing using a single ball end mill 12 having tooth parts with a radius R0 provided to its leading end part. When the spherical recessed parts 11c, 11d and 11e different in diameter are respectively processed, they are provided by turning processing by changing the processing depth from the surface of the decorative panel 11 being the processing quantity in the axial direction of the end mill 12.
