PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device of a machine tool, which is simplified in the structure of a feeding mechanism for feeding cooling fluid such as coolant or air, or lubricating oil, to thereby bring cost reduction, installation space saving, and prevention of leakage of the cooling fluid or the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: In the main spindle device, a floating mechanism 21 is attached to the tip of a main spindle 13 rotatably supported in a housing 12, and a flange portion 25a of a line bar main body 25 of a line bar 22 is coupled to a front end face of a floating holder 34. Then a lubricating oil feeding channel C1 for feeding lubricating oil in the line bar 22 is formed in an operating rod 41 which is inserted into the center of the main spindle 13 as well as the center of the floating holder 34 of the floating mechanism 21. Further a coolant feeding channel C2 for feeding coolant into the line bar main body 25 is formed in the main spindle 13 and the floating holder 34 of the floating mechanism 21.
