PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap motor for uniformizing the distribution of the magnetic flux density of a stator core, eliminating wasted materials, and improving the energy conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: The stator core 21 includes a pair of flanges 25, 25 with teeth faces 24 and a neck 26, onto which a coil is wound between the flanges 25, 25.
