PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer common-mode choke coil having a high common mode impedance and a reduced normal-mode impedance, in which the high-frequency characteristics are enhanced by reducing the stray capacitance, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A multilayer body, comprising a nonmagnetic insulating material layer 20 forming first and second inner conductors 31 and 32, and first and second magnetic material layers 15 and 16 arranged on the outer surface side at the opposite ends of the nonmagnetic insulating material layer 20 in the layer direction, is provided with an outer electrode connected to the first and second inner conductors 31 and 32, wherein first and second inner conductor forming layers 22 and 23 have nonmagnetic insulating materials 22a, 22b, 23a and 23b, spiral conductors 31a and 31b are formed on the surface of the nonmagnetic insulating materials 22a and 22b, while being shifted to the line width direction; and spiral conductors 32a and 32b are formed on the surface of the nonmagnetic insulating materials 23a and 23b, while being shifted in the line width direction.
