PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of changing the display position of a projected image and increasing a degree of freedom in terms of the installation position of the projector main body without making a projection lens large in size, without increasing the cost, and also, without deteriorating image quality. SOLUTION: The projector is provided with a light source 2, the projector main body 1a having a liquid crystal panel 3 for modulating the light emitted from the light source 2 and the projection lens 4 for projecting the light modulated by the liquid crystal panel 3 to a projection screen, and a reflecting means 10 for reflecting the luminous flux emitted from the projection lens 4 and emitting the luminous flux while changing the optical axis 5b of the luminous flux emitted from the projection lens 4 to an optical axis 5c in a position shifted in parallel from the optical axis 5b by a fixed distance.
