OVERWRAP PACKAGE AND ITS PACKAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overwrap package difficult to roll laterally even when displayed in a standing posture and having a design on a top face difficult to shift in position. SOLUTION: The overwrap package 1 is formed by forming a wrapper 3 made of a shrinkable film solid-printed over the approximately entire internal surface to cover an upper surface and a bottom of a packaged object 2 which receives contents in a bowl-shaped container 10 having a flange 12 radially overhanging outward from the circular upper end opening with the upper end opening covered with a lid sheet 15 and by heat-shrinking the wrapper 3 with the opened peripheral surface side of the packaged object of the wrapper 3 fusion-cut-sealed. The flange 12 of a container body 11 has protrusions 12a and 12b where its outer rim partially overhangs outward. The object 2 is wrapped with the wrapper 3 so that the protrusions 12a and 12b of the flange 12 align with ends of the fusion-cut-sealed part S2 of the wrapper 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
