<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording paper sheet having a high gloss, being adaptable to high-speed printing, having a high ink absorbing rate, enabling high-temperature high-speed drying and being of low cost, a manufacturing method thereof, and an ink jet recording method being excellent in image shelf stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording paper sheet having two or more layers on at least one side of a substrate, the layer farthermost from the substrate contains a hydrophilic polymeric compound to be crosslinked by an ionizing radiation at least, colloidal silica and a crosslinking agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
