The invention relates to a plug-in element ( 1 ) for an optical plug-in connection. Said element comprises a connector pin ( 2 ), which is held in a guide sleeve ( 4 ) by axial spring-loaded prestress, in such a way that it can be displaced in a limited manner along its longitudinal axis ( 3 ). The guide sleeve consists of at least two casing elements ( 5, 5 ') that can be assembled along their longitudinal axes. Said casing elements significantly simplify the production and assembly, as no screw or adhesive connections are required.
