PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic device capable of performing reproduction processing of an animation regardless of fluctuation of load quantity resulted from the execution of another processing. SOLUTION: An ECU 8 calculates the load quantity of the ECU when performing an animation display as various navigation operations. When the calculated load quantity is larger than an upper limit load quantity, the ECU 8 selects easy data and performs reproduction processing thereto to display the animation on a display 7. When the calculated load quantity is the upper limit load quantity or less, the ECU selects general data. Accordingly, even in a device performing a plurality of pieces of processing such as detection of the present position of a vehicle or search of a moving route in addition to animation display, general data or easy data are selectively subjected to reproduction processing according to the load quantity of the device, whereby the reproduction processing of animation can be smoothly performed regardless of the load of the device.
