<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular head light capable of securing sufficient lightness at a diffusion area of a low-beam light distribution pattern, even in the case of adopting a side insertion type lighting fixture composition. <P>SOLUTION: On the projector type vehicular head light composed so as to form a light distribution pattern for a low beam, a light source bulb 22 is constructed so as to be able to effectively utilize a light axis side area of a reflection face 24a of the light source bulb, by inserting the light source bulb 22 from a side part and fixing it at a position distant downward from a light axis Ax. An additional reflector 34, reflecting the light from a light source 22a toward an oblique front side of the outside of the direction of the width of the vehicle through a gap between the reflector 24 and a projection lens 28, is installed between the light source bulb 22 and a shade 32.
