<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely adjust electrical characteristics such as the resistance value of a chip type thermistor and a B constant easily. <P>SOLUTION: Each terminal electrodes 3 and 4 formed on a chip-shaped thermistor element body 2 composed of a ceramic sintered body is constituted of a lower conductor layer 10, a resistor layer 11 for adjustment, and an upper conductor layer 12. The initial electrical characteristics of the thermistor element body 2 are determined by forming the lower conductor layer 10. The electrical characteristics are adjusted finely by forming the resistor layer 11 for the adjustment on the lower conductor layer 10. The upper conductor layer 12 formed on the resistor layer 11 for adjustment work for improving solder wettabilities of the terminal electrodes 3 and 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
