<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transportation and laying while sustaining the filling of gaseous nitrogen within a cable and the evacuation of a vacuum layer, with the cable wound around a drum before transporting the cable. SOLUTION: The cable is provided with an inner tube 4 which constitutes a refrigerant passage outside a superconducting cable core 3 and is also provided with an outer tube 5 outside the inner tube 4. An adiabatic layer is formed to hold a vacuum state between the inner tube 4 and the outer tube 5. Then, an end part of a superconductive cable has a stepwise structure, and an adiabatic tube sealing fitting 11 having a port for evacuation is fitted to an end part of the inner and outer tube forming the adiabatic layer. Furthermore, an adiabatic tube is provided which has an exhaust port between the adiabatic tube sealing fitting 11 and a former 1 of the cable while involving the cable core 3, and a cable core integral fitting 21 is also provided.</p> |
