Root-shaped dental implant

The implant (1) has a slightly conical core (6) enveloped by a helical thread (2) with the same depth of ridge (8) along entire shaft resulting in a stable connection with the surrounding bone tissue, even at the lower end of the implant (1). Several recesses with curved cutting edges distributed in a regular pattern across the ridge (8) facilitate a better cutting performance. A tool can be inserted into the polygonal space (16, 18) at the upper end of the device (1).
