Multi-media messaging system

The system has a messaging unit (10) to receive a multimedia message from a terminal (A) of a caller and to transmit the message to a terminal (B) of a called subscriber. The terminal (B) operates according to a given communication configuration. An adaptation unit transmits the message to the terminal (B) according to modality of communication associated with the configuration and a unit for processing quality of the message.
