The file cover has a front and back, which are connected at one edge, so that written documents can be inserted between them. The front and back have a core (1) and a covering (2) applied to the core. The core consists of at least partly of a multiple corrugation structure with at least two corrugated layers (3, 4), with an intermediate layer (5) between them.
