An optoelectronic device for identification of the plate number of a road transport vehicle relates to the field of monitoring devices. The device contains photoelectric measuring pipe, reflecting code trademark, electronic component of conversion of light signal. Reflecting code trademark is mounted (applied) on the back side of the plate number of a road transport facility, and photoelectric measuring pipe is rigidly mounted on the structure of road transport facility at the level of location of reflecting code trademark. The output of the electronic component of conversion of light signal has a connection with the input of the radio-telephone remote transmitter of information. The utility model allows to reveal the unauthorized replacement of the plate number and thus to take appropriate measures against its theft.
