ELEVATOR

An elevator is proposed, which deflects upward for a larger angle than downward, has the nose of aerodynamic balancing and the axis of rotation in the middle of elevator. The elevator nose is located nearer to the upper theoretical outline of horizontal tail assembly in such a manner that the chord of nose is located between the elevator chord and the upper theoretical outline of nose. The chord of nose connects the axis of rotation of the elevator and the point of front section of the nose located on the circle with the center on the chord. The upper and lower theoretical outlines of nose are connected to the circle. Between the chord of nose and the elevator chord an angle is executed, which is equal to the half of difference between large and small elevator angles. This angle makes 7 DEGREE when the upward deflection of elevator equals to 30 DEGREE and downward deflection of elevator makes 16 DEGREE . This angle makes 5 DEGREE when the upward deflection of elevator equals to 25 DEGREE and downward deflection of elevator makes 15 DEGREE respectively.
