The invention relates to the medicine, namely to the urology and discloses the method for treating the chronic urethritis consisting in washing the urethra with the aid of the catheter. First, the urethrocystoscope is inserted into the urethra. Then the catheter is inserted through the operating canal of the urethrocystoscope directly to the glands and lacunae of the urethra.
