<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lost child preventing search system which makes persons confirm present locations of each other in the case that attendant children are lost or persons have lost sight of their companions within urban bustle, an amusement park, or the like and to provide a road guide system which guides persons who have lost ways to their destinations. <P>SOLUTION: A user (mother) pays a designated amount of money to a vending machine 20, two IC tags are provided from the vending machine. The user carries one IC tag, and her child carried the other IC tag. In the case that the mother and her child have lost sight of each other, the child goes to a nearby vending machine to present his or her IC tag to the vending machine, and then information showing which vending machine the owner of this tag is present before is sent to a server 10.
