<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining zinc hydroxide whose chlorine content is reduced to such a degree that it can be used as a resource recovery raw material, from gas or molten fly ash generated in a step of heat-treating waste. <P>SOLUTION: This zinc recovering method by which zinc is recovered as zinc hydroxide from zinc-containing molten fly ash or from zinc-containing gas generated during treatment of waste in a heat-treating furnace comprises (a) a step of obtaining a zinc-containing solution by acid-treating the zinc-containing molten fly ash or zinc-containing gas, (b) a step of obtaining a precipitate of insoluble zinc hydroxide by adding an alkali agent to the zinc-containing solution, and (c) a step of removing chlorine in the precipitate by washing the precipitate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
