<p>An endoscope for examining small structures has a housing (1,2), a tube (9) extending from the frontal end of the housing, a lighting system (8) for illuminating the examined structure, an image forming system for receiving light reflected from the structure as an image, an objective (11) a transmission system and a eyepiece, with the received image displayed on an opto-electronic camera (4). The objective (11), the transmission system and the eyepiece are arranged in a protective sleeve, which is at least partly enclosed by an optical fiber (16) of the lighting system and partly enclosed by the tube (9). A graded index fiber is used as the transmission system provided with one or more rod-shaped transmission lens or a system with several acromats.</p> |
