<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a regenerated optical clock signal 2 which synchronizes with an input data signal 1 even when a 0 sequence follows the input data signal. <P>SOLUTION: A mode synchronous semiconductor laser 4 receives an optical data signal 1 in a specified polarized state from one of both end surfaces constituting an optical resonator and outputs the regenerated optical clock signal from the other end surface, and an optical feedback loop 5 receives part of the regenerated optical clock signal from the other end surface L of the mode synchronous semiconductor laser 4 and inputs it from the one end surface R of the mode synchronous semiconductor laser 4 within a regeneration stimulation limit time τ0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
