<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce power consumption in a standby mode, in an electronic apparatus which has such a constitution that it can be controlled by a remote controller such as an infrared ray transmitter or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A record controller 100 which executes main control and a sub controller 150 which has a means of receiving an operation mode signal from a remote controller 120 are made independent, and this electronic apparatus is provided with a switch SW2 which can switch on or switch off a power supply to the record controller 100. When it receives a standby mode control signal from the remote controller 120 during operation in a usual mode, an operation mode control circuit 151 of the sub control circuit 150 shifts the operation mode from the usual mode to a standby mode(sleep mode), and also switches off a switch SW2 so as to break the power supply to the record controller 100. In the standby mode, it drops the output voltage of a constant voltage DC power unit 110 from a rated voltage (42V) to a standby voltage (about 13V). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
