<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cab tilt device of a cab-over-engine truck capable of properly using full stroke and halfway stoppage of a tilt-up by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: This device is constituted to limit extending and contracting of an extending and contracting means. A locking part 3a of a stopper lever 3 is formed to be engaged to a locking means 4 of a cylinder tube 1 at a halfway position of stroke of the extending and contacting means. The device is provided with an engagement preventing member 25 for preventing engagement at the halfway position. The engagement preventing member 25 is movable between an inhibiting position for completely covering the locking part 3a formed in the stopper lever 3 to inhibit engagement of the locking part 3 and a locking means 4 and an allowing position for exposing the locking part 3a to allow engagement to the locking means 4.
