A device which is temporarily activated by an electric current is used to mechanically connect either of the handles (3, 4) to the latch so that turning the handle will move the latch into the open position. The lock includes at least one latchbolt and a mechanism for moving the latchbolt and latch. Pressing down on the handle causes the latchbolt to be moved. |
