PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness by realizing relevance between minimum necessary information and simple button operation that permit TV programs of each broadcasting station to be checked. SOLUTION: When a program contents PB has been operated by the user, a display screen image of each program title to be aired at designated time is changed over from display of broadcasting stations to that of channel buttons CB1 to CB 8. Therefore, a user can know the programs to be aired at the designated time. Then, the program contents PB is changed into the display of the broadcasting stations SB. As a result, this time, the program contents PB becomes possible to operate in order to know a station name and a channel button CB1 corresponds to a numeral key "1" of a dial key. There, when the numeral key "1" of the dial key has been pressed down, a remote control application detects that the channel button CB1 has been selected.
