PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental box showing a high-class decorative taste with a frame through usage of a less-expensive chip cardboard having a white back sheet. SOLUTION: A paper-made ornamental box comprised of a body and a lid is constituted such that as a paper material for the body, the chip cardboard having the white back sheet with its inside part being of ornamental color, frames having an upper end of each of the side walls folded back inside to its intermediate part are formed at the upper part of each of the side walls of the body and then an ornamental paper is stuck from the outer surface of the body to the inner surface of each of the frames.
