PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning machine for a steel tower capable of cleaning a wide area of the steel tower surface in a shorter time by an automated cleaning operation instead of a manual operation. SOLUTION: This cleaning machine 1 is provided with a frame 3 arranged at a circumference of the steel tower 2 capable of moving up and down, a fixing means 4 for fixing the frame 3 at a prescribed position in an outer peripheral surface of the steel tower 2, a scraping brush 6 fixed rotatably to the frame 3 via a rotating mechanism 5 in the circumference of the steel tower 2, and a driving means 7 for moving the frame 3 up and down in the direction to the steel tower 2.
