PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a usability evaluation supporting apparatus which is capable of easily predicting the improvement of usability. SOLUTION: In a usability evaluation apparatus, information is acquired while a task is executed, a plurality of tasks are divided into sub-tasks, respectively and an index related to usability for each sub-task is calculated based on the acquired information. With regard to at least one of the sub-tasks, if a value of the index of that sub-task fulfills predetermined conditions for a predetermined statistical value calculated from the index of a sub-task, corresponding to the sub-task, among the plurality of tasks, the improvement of the indexes of all the tasks including the sub-task is predicted by replacing the value of the index of the sub-task with the statistical value.
