PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of easily and inexpensively manufacturing a chassis frame having a required length and strength according to an application or the like of a truck. SOLUTION: The chassis frame 11 for a vehicle comprises a plurality of units 22-25 formed of small side members 12-15 and cross members or parts 16-21. The chassis frame 11 having a predetermined length is formed by connecting between units 22, 23, 24 and 25. The die is miniaturized to reduce the facility cost, manufacturing cost, or the like, and hence flexible response including the delivery time is allowed when the length of the side members, requested strength of the chassis frame including the cross members are intended to be changed dependently on the application of the truck or the like and a destination or the like. When the strength of the unit such as a suspending device mounting section is improved, response since the initial time is allowed, and reinforcement is not required. Assembling for each unit can be performed, a required apparatus can be mounted, and repair every unit is allowed when the chassis frame breaks. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
