<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antioxidant, an anti-aging agent or an antiinflammatory agent, each containing at least one of an extract of Neobeguea mahafalensis and an extract of Cedrelopsis grevei; and to prepare a skin cosmetic containing the agent as an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The antioxidant, the anti-aging agent or the antiinflammatory agent contains at least one of the extract of the Neobeguea mahafalensis and the extract of the Cedrelopsis grevei. The antioxidant, the anti-aging agent or the antiinflammatory agent preferably has at least one selected from an active oxygen-scavenging activity, a radical-scavenging activity, a collagenase-inhibiting activity, and a cyclic AMP (adenosine monophosphate) phosphodiesterase-inhibiting activity.
