SOLUTION: A floating switch SW153 is provided between a transfer wiring 55 and a transfer driving buffer 150. In a pixel selecting operation in which voltage of a vertical drain line 57 common among all the pixels is brought from an on-state to an off-state and then from the off-state to the on-state, the floating switch SW153 is turned off, the transfer wiring 55 for driving a reading selecting transistor 34 as a transfer gate is brought into a floating state. By doing this, a potential load becomes light, the potential of the transfer gate may be pushed up similarly to a charge generator 32 when the potential of the generator 32 is pushed up, and signal charges of the generator 32 can be prevented from leaking to a floating diffusion 38.
