PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal unit capable of preventing unexpected discharge of a capacitor and circuit failure caused by an impact to a device. SOLUTION: A capacitor 41 in a columnar shape is provided with a ground terminal and a hot terminal (+ terminal) on a top plane and arranged at a notch part with its axis directed almost parallel to the principal plane of the substrate of a main board 37. The capacitor 41 itself is offset in a thickness direction with respect to the main board 37 so as not to bring the hot terminal into contact with the main board 37. In the ground terminal and hot terminal of the capacitor 41, the ground terminal is located at a side closer to the main board 37, and the hot terminal is located away from the main board 37.
