PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water meter unit wherein collimation of any water meter with different thread diameter is easy when installed in the water meter unit itself, while press-fitting section will not be loosen by vibration due to earthquake or vehicle, etc. even if in long-term service. SOLUTION: The water meter is put on a meter holder of this water meter unit, graduation of previously-measured height for each manufacturer's water meter is printed on a level control dial plate of the above height, the level control dial is operated according to the water meter from the manufacturer to be used, and then height control/collimation are made. Additionally by providing ratchet gear teeth on periphery of a rotating member and also a manual operation button for enabling or disabling the ratchet, the ratchet mechanism allows the above rotating member to be rotated, a slide member is used to put outer diameter section of both inlet and outlet ports provided on each end of the water meter on the meter holder. Thus the end faces of the outer diameter are pressure bonded and fixed to eliminate the risks of such accidents as water leakage caused by loosened bonding due to earthquake or vibration of vehicle, etc. in long-term service.
