PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the symbol rate error of an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) modulated signal with high accuracy at high speed. SOLUTION: An OFDM modulated signal measuring instrument measures the symbol rate errorεof the OFDM modulated signal 1 which is composed of a plurality of subcarriers arranged at fixed frequency intervals and is composed of a plurality of symbols arranged at fixed time intervals. The OFDM modulated signal measuring instrument obtains the actual phase of symbol data 9 of each pilot subcarrier 36 that originally has a specified phase value and calculates the symbol rate errorεof the symbol data on the basis of temporal change of the found phase of the symbol data 9.
