The bars are accommodated in a bearing unit (1) to be joined to the appropriate components of the transmission unit with two ring-shaped extensions (3.1, 3.2). The rear of the bearing (1) is provided with a rectangular depression coated along its upper rim with a synthetic material (4). A H-shaped recess (6.1, 6.2, 7) to be used for the accommodation of the gear switch bars is positioned in the center of the bearing (1). The inner surface of the recess (6.1, 6.2, 7) is completely covered by a plastic coating in order to facilitate a perfect sliding and to avoid a premature wear and tear.
