<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of preventing a decorative member from being scattered when an airbag is inflated with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When an airbag is developed, a recessed part with a decorative member of an airbag cover 50 mounted thereon is detachable from other portions and connected to a fixed connection member. A circular tear line Lc to demarcate the recessed part 52 and a plurality of tear lines L1-L4 extending outwardly in the radial direction from the tear line Lc to demarcate each opening piece 50a are formed on an inner surface of the airbag cover 50. A mounting part 50b of each opening piece 50a is screwed to a plastically deformable mounting piece of a base plate.
