PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conical coil spring, and a suction control valve device provided with the conical coil spring capable of preventing or reducing noise caused by sliding of a lapping part and a first winding part of a large diameter side of an effective winding part during compression. SOLUTION: The conical coil spring 1 is composed such that a wire is wound in a conical tube shape, the lapping part 5 is formed in an end of the large diameter side, a bent-in part 6 protruding in a radial inward direction with a protruding amount of a wire diameter or more is provided by bending a terminal part of the lapping part 5 in the radial inward direction, and the bent-in part 6 of the lapping part 5 is bent in at a bent-in diameter that is almost the same as a coil diameter of a small diameter side. By this, since the first winding part 3a of the large diameter side of the effective winding part 3 holds down the bent-in part 6 of the lapping part 5 during compression, there is no sliding between the first winding part 3a of the large diameter side of the effective winding part 3 and the lapping part 5.
