<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization system of a circulation type bathtub capable of supplying the hot water supplied into the bathtub in a state of being completely sterilized in using the bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: The whole amount of circulated water from the bathtub 10 is passed through a plate-type heat exchanger 20, heated at more than 80°C by a heater 21, kept in a high-temperature state in a storage tank 22 for two minutes or more to sterilize Legionella bacteria, then passed through the plate-type heat exchanger 20 to exchange the heat with the circulated water from the bathtub 10, and supplied to the bathtub 10 after being adjusted to a temperature suitable for bathing by the plate-type heat exchanger.
