PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for cosmetics which can prevent solid cosmetics or others filling an inner tray from splitting or breaking without forming a recess in the side face of the inner tray and can be refilled with the inner tray. SOLUTION: The container has a container body 1 with a cosmetic tray receiving recess 1a formed in its upper face and a lid body 2 covering the container body 1. A recess 12 for arranging a leaf spring is formed in one side face of the cosmetic tray receiving recessed portion 1a, the leaf spring 11 is arranged in the recess 12 for arranging the leaf spring, a cosmetic tray 3 is received in the cosmetic tray receiving recess 1a with the cosmetic tray 3 pressed and brought into contact with leaf spring 11, the cosmetic tray is pressed and secured to the other side face of the cosmetic tray receiving recess 1a by the pushing and pressing force of the leaf spring 11, and a protrusion 13 covering from above the outer peripheral rim portion the cosmetic tray 3 received in the cosmetic tray receiving recess 1a is formed in the upper end rim the other side face of the cosmetic tray receiving recess 1a.
